Why Justices of the Peace?
Trust
The community trusts their Justices of the Peace.
Appointed by the Governor in Council, on the recommendation of the Attorney General, your local JP can be trusted to assist you with your witnessing and certifying needs.
Integrity
Justices of the Peace are independent of Police and the Government. They owe allegiance to no-one except their local communities. As volunteers they can never accept payment in any kind for their services.
Expertise
Justices of the Peace are the experts when it comes to witnessing and certifying documents. They are all comprehensively trained and keep up to date on the latest changes in practice and legislation.
